Certified accountant in the budget sector

In the context of adapting the national accounting system to international principles, the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine developed the program "Certified accountant in the public sector - CAPS".

The program is presented for improving the qualifications of accountants of budget institutions, agreed with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (October 21, 2008). The program was also presented to the regional group of the International Federation of Accountants - ERSBA (10.2009).

Directions of the САРС program:

COURSE 1

Modernization of accounting in the public sector: application of national provisions (standards) of accounting

COURSE 2

Estimates of budgetary institutions. Accounting of income and expenses

COURSE 3

Financial and budget reporting in the public sector

COURSE 4

Accounting of the use of state property and intellectual property objects in budget institutions

COURSE 5

Purchase of goods, works, services with public funds

Upon completion of training and successful passing of testing in the Universal Examination Network, trainees are issued a СAPS Certificate, the validity of which is regulated by the Regulation on training, certification and continuous professional development of Federation members, approved by the 8th Congress of the Federation of Auditors and Accountants and financiers of the APC of Ukraine (May 14, 2010).
