On 13 March 2024, a short-term event on "Martial Law: Impact on Business Accounting and Reporting" was completed.

During the event, the auditors gained in-depth knowledge of

• accounting aspects of business activities in times of war;
• accounting for non-current and current assets under martial law;
• accounting for alienated and seized property for defence purposes;
• accounting for charitable assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
• labour relations and remuneration under martial law;
• use of accounting estimates, assumptions and reporting under martial law in the auditor's work.

We believe that the knowledge gained will be a valuable asset for auditors and will contribute to their successful work.
