INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES – AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “FINANCIAL AND MANAGEMENT INNOVATIONS AS A DRIVER OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”
On November 7, 2025, Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law hosted an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Financial and Management Innovations as a Driver of Sustainable Development in the Context of Modern Challenges.” The event brought together leading scientists, educators, and practitioners in the financial and economic sphere, becoming a platform for discussing ways to improve management efficiency and develop financial science in the context of European integration transformations.
The event was made special by its dedication to the 70th anniversary of Doctor of Economics, Professor Viktor Petrovych Synchak, a scientist whose scientific wisdom and tax innovations shaped an entire era in financial education in Ukraine.
Stanislav Vasylishyn, Director of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Doctor of Economics, Professor, addressed the participants and the honoree with a welcoming speech. In his speech, he emphasized the decisive contribution of Professor Viktor Petrovych Synchak to the formation of the scientific foundations of the state's financial policy and the training of a new generation of specialists who will shape the accounting and finance of the future.
On behalf of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the NAAS and the Federation of Auditors, Accountants and Financiers of the AIC of Ukraine, Viktor Petrovych Synchak was solemnly presented with a Letter of Thanks for his outstanding contribution to the development of financial science and education, the establishment of special tax regimes in the agricultural sector, and his many years of work on the editorial board of the scientific journal Accounting and Finance.
A meaningful addition to the program was the speech by the chairman of the Scientific Council, academician of the NAAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor Valerii Zhuk, with a report entitled “The Academic Basis for the Development and Success of Higher Education Departments.”
During the meeting, participants discussed strategic directions for the development of financial education, improvement of management accounting methodology, and implementation of innovative solutions in the field of financial analytics and sustainable development.
The Institute of Accounting and Finance of the NAAS of Ukraine sincerely thanks the conference organizers for the high level of preparation of the event, the substantive nature of the scientific discussions, and the warm atmosphere of cooperation, which contributed to the formation of new ideas and partnership initiatives in the development of financial science.
