OUR FOUNDER - FAAF JOINS THE INTERDEPARTMENTAL WORKING GROUP OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE ON THE INTRODUCTION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT REPORTING BY ENTERPRISES
The interdepartmental working group was established by Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated June 9, 2025, in accordance with the Strategy for the Introduction of Sustainable Development Reporting by Enterprises, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1015-r dated October 18, 2024.
The group includes representatives of central executive bodies, the National Bank of Ukraine, professional associations, international organizations, and experts. The Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Svitlana Vorobei, was appointed chair of the interdepartmental working group, and the Deputy Director of the Department of Accounting Methodology and Regulatory Support for Auditing Activities of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Liudmyla Gapenko, was appointed deputy chair. The working group also includes Stanislav Vasylishyn, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Auditors, Accountants and Financiers of the Ago-Industrial Complex of Ukraine (FAAF), Director of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, leading researcher at the Institute of Agrarian Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
On July 22, 2025, the group held its inaugural meeting, during which it discussed the legislative regulation of the introduction of sustainable development reporting by enterprises and the role of the interdepartmental working group in the practical implementation of initiatives, as well as outlined its work plans for 2025.
