NEW PROFESSIONS IN THE LABOUR MARKET: THE CLASSIFIER OF PROFESSIONS HAS BEEN UPDATED
The labour market has seen the introduction of 42 new professions, including those in the IT, healthcare, social and financial sectors. The Classifier of Occupations was amended accordingly.
"We are updating the list of professions in line with the requirements of the times and the needs of the labour market. Most of the changes are in the field of IT technologies, where 29 new professions will appear that are relevant to the realities and are in demand by employers. There are also new professions in the medical and financial sectors. We are adding professions that have become necessary in connection with the war and overcoming its consequences, in particular, we now have mine clearance specialists, and in the medical field - prosthetists and orthotists. In total, 42 new positions have been added to the Classifier of Occupations," said Tetiana Berezhna, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
Thus, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Classifier of Occupations has been supplemented with 29 new professional titles for IT jobs, such as: "Web Resource Administrator", "Mobile Application Analyst", "Artificial Intelligence Engineer", "Artificial Intelligence Developer", "Software Architecture Developer (Information Technology)", "Cloud Architecture Developer", "Electronic Communications Security Specialist", etc.
9 professional job titles in the IT sector were brought in line with modern technologies, in particular, "Computer Data Bank Analyst" was changed to "Data Analyst", "Operational and Application Software Analyst" to "Software Analyst", "Computer Software Engineer" to "Software Engineer", etc.
At the same time, 9 outdated occupational titles were removed from the Classifier of Occupations, such as "Application Programmer", "System Programmer", "Computer Application Engineer", "Software and Multimedia Analyst".
In addition, the Classifier of Occupations includes a number of positions that have been in urgent need recently, including: "Prosthetist-orthoticist", "Operator of the 112 Service" (providing emergency assistance to the population via a single telephone number on a "one-stop shop" basis), "Duty officer of the Operational and Rescue Service of Civil Protection", "Spatial Orientation and Mobility Instructor", "Demining Specialist", "Auditor by Type of Activity", "Financial Analyst", "Shot Blasting Machine Operator" and "Heat Pump Installation, Maintenance, Repair and Adjustment Technician".
