Since the first days of the war, the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences has been researching methodologies and methods for assessing the damage and losses of agricultural enterprises as a result of the war. The first such methodologies were approved by the Scientific Council of the Institute of Accounting and Finance on 14 April 2022.
The chairman of the Scientific Council of our Institute, academician of NAAS Valerii Zhuk, reported on the importance of this work and received full approval and support from the NAAS Presidium on 19 July 2022.
Further, through our main institution, the coordinator of the R&D - the National Scientific Centre ‘Institute of Agrarian Economics’ - the research was continued in the form of a project financed by the National Research Fundation of Ukraine under the competition ‘Science for the reconstruction of Ukraine in the war and post-war periods’ (2023-2024).
Recently, the results of the research were presented by the project manager, Deputy Director for Scientific Work at the National Scientific Centre ‘Institute of Agrarian Economics’, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences Mykola PUGACHOV, following the successful completion of the project ‘Development of methodological approaches to determining losses, assessing the impact of military aggression and compensation policy on the development of agrarian entrepreneurship’.
