A FINE FOR NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE ESTABLISHED STANDARDS OF WORKPLACES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Employers whose average number of employees with disabilities is less than the standard set forth in Article 19 of Law No. 875 shall annually pay administrative and economic sanctions to the relevant branches of the SPSF.
The amount of the fine is determined in the amount of the average annual salary at the relevant enterprise for each workplace intended for the employment of a person with a disability and not occupied by a person with a disability.
For enterprises employing 8 to 15 persons, the amount of administrative and economic sanctions for a workplace intended for the employment of a person with a disability and not occupied by a person with a disability is determined in the amount of half of the average annual salary at the relevant enterprise.
The provisions of this part do not apply to enterprises that are fully supported by the state or local budgets.
Administrative and economic sanctions are calculated and paid by enterprises independently by April 15 of the year following the year in which the violation of the standard established by part one of Article 19 of Law No. 875 occurred.
Failure to meet the deadlines for payment of administrative and economic sanctions results in the accrual of a penalty.
