PARTICIPATION OF THE INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE IN THE GENERAL MEETING OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRARIAN ECONOMICS AND FOOD OF THE NAAS
On April 28, 2026, the General Meeting of the Department of Agrarian Economics and Food of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine was held at the Institute of Food Resources of the NAAS. The event took place in a mixed format under the chairmanship of Yurii LUPENKO, Vice-President of the NAAS, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Academician of the NAAS.
During the meeting, a number of important issues related to the scientific and organizational activities of the Department, the summarization of its work, and the identification of further development priorities were considered. Information in accordance with the agenda was presented by Maksym KROPYVKO, Deputy Academician-Secretary of the Department, Doctor of Economic Sciences.
As part of the meeting, the participants discussed issues concerning the holding of the General Meeting of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, considered the report of the Department of Agrarian Economics and Food of the NAAS on the results of its activities for 2021–2025 and separately for 2025, and outlined the main tasks for the future. Particular attention was paid to the Department’s work plan for 2026, the reports of the Department members for 2023–2025, and the recommendation for publication of the Bulletin on the scientific, organizational and coordination work of the Department of Agrarian Economics and Food for 2025.
The General Meeting of the Department was also attended by Valerii ZHUK, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the NAAS, Academician of the NAAS, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Stanislav VASYLISHYN, Director of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the NAAS, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.
The meeting served as an important platform for summarizing the results of the scientific, organizational and coordination work of the Department, as well as for identifying key areas of further activity in the fields of agrarian economics, food security and scientific support for the development of Ukraine’s agro-industrial complex.
