PARTICIPATION OF THE INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE IN ERASMUS DAYS AT DBTU
On October 18, the State Biotechnological University held an event dedicated to the presentation of European values. The meeting took place within the framework of the #ErasmusDaysChallenge initiative of the team of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine.
The participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the key aspects of the implementation of European approaches in scientific research and university education. Special attention was paid to the topic of European values as a basis for solving global socio-ecological and economic problems, in particular in the context of climate change, sustainable development and the introduction of innovations in the economy and science.
Emphasis is placed on the role of Ukraine in international research conducted at the Akademik Vernadsky station, which serves as an important scientific center where Ukrainian researchers participate in global initiatives studying the impact of climate change on the environment.
The speaker of the event is Andrii Zalizovskyi, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Dr. f.-m. of Sciences, senior researcher, head of the research department of geocosm radiophysics of the Radio Astronomy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; senior researcher of the State Institution National Antarctic Science Center; professor at the Institute of the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences; laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology (2015), spoke in detail about the work of the Ukrainian station "Akademik Vernadskyi", in particular about:
Ukraine's international cooperation in the Antarctic and the significance of the Antarctic Treaty;
geospace research, the influence of the atmosphere on the state of the geospace, operational space weather services;
important measurements made at the station and their impact on understanding global climate change.
The role of Ukraine in the international scientific community is important, because the results of research conducted at the "Akademik Vernadskyi" station contribute to the formation of effective strategies for adaptation to climate change, as well as the development of measures to mitigate its negative consequences.
The coordinators of the Jean Monnet Module Erasmus+ program projects implemented at the State University of Biotechnology presented their grant projects:

"Digitalization of business processes and financial technologies: European experience for Ukraine", "European architecture of sustainable development: mechanisms of economic and financial integration", project coordinator - Oleksandra Mandych, Ph.D. economy Sciences, professor.
"EU bioclusters: proof of formation and management to ensure the sustainability of Ukrainian agroecosystems", project coordinator - Nataliya Kashchena, Ph.D. economy Sciences, professor.
The chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Valerii Zhuk, and the Director, Stanislav Vasylishyn, who are co-executors of the SBTU grant project (Jean Monet module of the ERASMUS+ program "EU bioclusters: proof of formation and management to ensure the sustainability of Ukrainian agroecosystems") joined the event.
