On 26 August 2026, a meeting with Nataliia Kutsmus, a representative of the National Contact Point for Cluster 2 of the EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe, was organised and held at the Presidium of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS).
The event was attended by NAAS President Ihor Hrynyk, NAAS Vice-Presidents Anatolii Moskalenko and Mykola Patyka, Academicians-Secretaries of the NAAS Departments, staff of the NAAS Presidium, representatives of the Kyiv Agrarian University of NAAS, heads and researchers of NAAS institutions, as well as other professionals involved in project activities and the preparation and implementation of international research and grant projects. The Institute of Accounting and Finance was represented at the seminar by its Director, Stanislav Vasylishyn, who also chairs the Council of Young Scientists of NAAS.
Access to European grant programmes provides researchers with opportunities to implement their own scientific ideas, work within international consortia, gain valuable project experience, and build their professional careers in Ukrainian science while remaining competitive within the European Research Area. Therefore, one of the important priorities is to strengthen researchers’ grant-related competencies — particularly those of young scientists — and to promote their more active participation in EU programmes.
We sincerely thank the leadership of NAAS of Ukraine, the NAAS Department of International Cooperation, and the representatives of Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine for organising the event, facilitating a meaningful professional discussion, and providing valuable practical recommendations!
