PARTICIPATION IN THE EXPERT DISCUSSION OF THE PROBLEMS OF TRAINING SPECIALISTS IN THE FIELD OF INFORMATION AND ACCOUNTING SUPPORT OF ECONOMIC POLICY AND MANAGEMENT
On 07.10.2024, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held a working meeting on the inclusion of the specialty 071 ‘Accounting and Taxation’ in the list of specialties, the degree of which is necessary for access to professions for which additional regulation has been introduced.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister Mykhailo Ivan Vynnytskii; Director General of the Directorate of Professional Higher Education Oleg Sharov; representatives of the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University Andriy Omelchenko, Mykola Bondar, Olena Tsyatkivska; Executive Director of the Quality Assurance Inspectorate of the Public Oversight Body for Auditing Oleg Kantsurov; President of the FPAA Petro Krychun and Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine Valeriy Zhuk.
The participants discussed and reached an understanding on the development of the educational component of the profession of accountant-auditor, and agreed to further coordinate efforts and intensify developments in this area.
A critical discussion was held on the state and development of the scientific component of accounting and auditing in Ukraine in the context of European integration.
