On 12 December 2024, the powerful V International Forum ‘HUMAN CAPITAL-2024. VALUE. QUALITY. DEVELOPMENT’ was initiated by the National Qualifications Agency (NQA) with the support of Helvetas. The forum was aimed at promoting the development of the national economy, human capital and Ukraine's integration into the European qualification space.

 

The forum was attended by 50+ speakers, including representatives of the European Commission; international experts; the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the leadership of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation; the NQA leadership; the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine; representatives of the relevant departments of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Health; the Head of the NAQA; the leadership of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine and industry trade unions and associations; rectors of leading Ukrainian universities; representatives of qualification centres that are already successfully working in the field of developing a system of professional qualifications.

During the forum, we, representing the Federation of Auditors, Accountants and Financiers of the Ukrainian Agricultural Complex and the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, aimed to get acquainted with the best practices, innovative practices, current trends and challenges in the context of developing draft professional standards for the training of accountants for the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex, on which we are already actively working, and the development of professional qualifications in general.
