PARTICIPATION IN THE WORK OF THE INTERDEPARTMENTAL SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL OF THE NAS AND NAAN OF UKRAINE
On 10 July, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Scientific Council of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine was held on the topic ‘Development of the agricultural sector and rural areas in wartime and post-war recovery of Ukraine’.
Yurii Lupenko, Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Agrarian Economics, Academician of the NAAS, and Valerii Heiets, Director of the Institute for Economics and Forecasting, Academician of the NAS, made presentations.
The discussion was attended by Valerii Zhuk, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Accounting and Finance of the NAAS, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Agrarian Economics, Academician of the NAAS.
The discussion resulted in the adoption of the Draft Policy Paper to the Government of Ukraine and relevant ministries and agencies on the problems and prospects of development of the agricultural sector and rural areas of Ukraine in the context of wartime challenges and post-war recovery.
