MARTIAL LAW AND GENERAL MOBILISATION EXTENDED UNTIL 9 MAY
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law of Ukraine ‘On Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On Extension of the Term of General Mobilisation”’ dated 15 January 2025 No. 4221-IX and ‘On Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On Extension of the Term of Martial Law in Ukraine” dated 15 January 2025 No. 4220-IX. They approved the Decrees of the President of Ukraine ‘On Extension of the Period of General Mobilisation’ of 14.01.2025 No. 27/2025 and ‘On Extension of the Period of Martial Law in Ukraine’ of 14.01.2025 No. 26/2025.
The extension of martial law and mobilisation in Ukraine was extended from 8 February to 9 May 2025. This was the 14th vote of the Verkhovna Rada on martial law and mobilisation.
Law No. 4221 is immediately announced through the media and enters into force on 8 February 2025. Law No. 4220 is immediately announced through the media and comes into force on the day of its publication.
